The Appellation of Cahors wine is located 100 km away from the north of Toulouse. Everything about this area invites the visitor to take time to unwind and rediscover it. This is a region where the atmosphere is always pleasant and friendly. Here the vineyards of Cahors climb the terraced banks of the Lot River or sweep across the Causse plateau, thriving without threatening either nature or its authenticity.
The most common grape variety in Cahors is the Malbec grape, with the addition of two other varieties making up a maximum 30% of the whole: Merlot and Tannat.
